Join the ASAA for the 2024 Animal Science Weekend & Gala Reunion
April 5-7, 2024
Come see alumni and friends for a wonderful evening of celebration and fellowship on the OSU Campus. The evening will begin with doors opening at 4:30 p.m. for a cocktail reception, dinner and the chance to view many auction items. The program and live auction will begin at 6:00 p.m. and include an update from the OSU Department of Animal and Food Sciences and recognition of our honorees, current students and judging teams. Cocktail attire is encouraged.
Partnership opportunities are currently available and we hope you will consider joining the ASAA as a sponsor of the 2024 Gala Reunion. Partnerships include event tickets and additional benefits including drink tickets for the evening. Your impact makes a difference by contributing to our animal units, animal and food sciences students, and future industry leaders. Auction items will be added up until April 5! The ASAA will hold its annual membership meeting before the Gala Reunion at the Totusek Arena. All alumni are welcome and will enjoy an update from the ASAA and Animal and Food Sciences Department Head Dr. Richard Coffey. Proposed bylaw changes will be discussed to review ahead of time click here. Lunch will be provided. If you are not a current Lifetime Member we encourage you to join today. Members will receive an ASAA jacket and window decal. The Animal Science Alumni Association is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit and is focused on promoting the profession of animal science. This is accomplished by providing scholarship and judging team support, encouraging student enrollment in animal science, improving awareness of education opportunities and organizing events and activities for alumni.

The OSU Animal Science Alumni Association (ASAA) is honored to recognize Dr. Brad & Missy Morgan as the 2024 Totusek Arena Hall of Fame Chairback Recipient.
Support from the Chairback Campaign will be directed in support of students involved on the OSU Meat Judging Team and within the Meat Science Program.

How to Participate in our Online Auction
Bid in the Online Silent Auction
Items are available for viewing now and auction items are LIVE for BIDDING starting April 2, at 12 p.m. CST.
To bid on Live Auction Items if you will not be in attendance, contact the ASAA prior to April 6 and someone will contact you the evening of the Gala to bid by phone.
The auction will CLOSE on April 6, at 7:30 p.m. CST.
Browse and set your auto-bids and make sure to register today so you do not miss out on your favorite items!
Spotlight Items will close 10 min following the conclusion of the Gala Reunion.

See an item you want to bid on but can't stay next to your phone or computer? Let the system bid for you!

Easy Checkout
If you are the lucky winner of an auction item, purchased an ASAA Lifetime Membership or donated to an endowment fund, you can securely checkout. Click the PAY tab to pay your balance at any time. A text with the link to pay will also be sent to all users with a balance on file at the end of the auction.
Any unpaid balances will be charged on Monday, April 8 at 12:00 p.m. Email [email protected] to arrange an alternate form of payment before that time.
Winners not in attendance may pick up items in Stillwater or we will have items shipped to you at your cost unless otherwise noted.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I participate in the auction?
Register online! Click the 'REGISTER NOW' button on the auction homepage and fill out your bidder information. Create a password, check the boxes for terms and conditions and text messages (you will want be notified about items you bid on), and then just click 'Create my GiveSmart account'!
Or, if you already have a GiveSmart account, simply click to register and log into your existing account.
Do I have to use a phone to bid or can I participate using my computer?
You can participate in the auction from a computer, tablet or phone, it's up to you! After you sign in to your GiveSmart account, click "items" to view the auction and start bidding.
Click the item you'd like to bid on, then enter your bid in the open text field (make sure it is higher than the current minimum amount) and click "Bid". If you have opted in to receive text messages, you will receive a text if you are outbid.
Can I view items before deciding if I want to bid?
Yes! Items are currently available to view in preview mode. Bidding will begin at 12:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, April 2 and close at 7:30 p.m. CST on Saturday, April 6. Click "items" at the top of this page and preview our fabulous auction items.
Will you need my credit card information?
Yes, a credit card number will be required to bid.
I'm not very tech-savvy, will I have a hard time participating?
We don't think so! The bidding platform is very user-friendly and will walk you through the entire process. If you need help, though, please contact Megan Smith at [email protected]. Also, you may consider an auto-bid which GiveSmart will bid for you up to the highest amount you designate.
