Lake Placid is a year-round resort village, and the winning bidder can choose their season for this bucket-list destination and a stay at Daisy Hill, a cozy Adirondack cottage built for families.

Enjoy a ski weekend at Whiteface Mountain and all the Winter Olympics sites (luge rocket rides, bobsled rides, or skating on the Olympic Oval), or enjoy Lake Placid for a perfect summer vacation. As a fall getaway, the hiking right out the front door is beautiful. Take in the Flaming Leaves Ski Jump or the annual Oktoberfest. The region is home to a range of activities for all ages, and you will stay just minutes from all the action, but on acres of private land.

Built in 2007, Daisy Hill enjoys spectacular views of Whiteface Mountain from the cozy screen porch, which features an outdoor fireplace. Take in the view of the Great Range from the 6 person hot tub on the deck, or from the gourmet fully-equipped kitchen with a Jenn-Air grill. Bose sound system indoor and out, and great Wi-Fi.

You'll find a comfy sectional down in the playroom, which features the main TV for family movies. Two bedrooms and a full bath complete this level. There is a 2-car heated garage, which is clutch for snowy mornings, and includes a workbench perfect for skis and bikes.

The king primary suite on the main floor has its own electric fireplace, Tiffany ceiling fan, over-sized soaking tub, and french doors that open to the large deck with gorgeous views of the High Peaks.

All linens provided, wood, as well and pancake mix and coffee. All basic condiments and spices for cooking up family meals. And always some local craft beers in the fridge.

Stay up in the tree tops of Daisy Hill, just minutes to fine shopping, groceries, and restaurants. A recent family who stayed seemed to capture it best: "Everything was wonderful! Your place is beautiful, so close to everything yet still magically hidden in the woods. We had a lovely, relaxing time...thank you."
