Beautiful artwork collaboration created by local artist Allison Hobbs and Arkansas Children's Hospital Northwest patient Tori, age 9.

ABOUT TORI
At 9 months old, Tori was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer. She was flown from Rogers to Arkansas Children's Hospital for a bleeding brain tumor, where she underwent surgery, chemotherapy, radiation and stem cell transplants. Her parents say the pediatric intensive care unit and oncology nurses and doctors have become like family. Today, Tori continues to be seen at Arkansas Children's in many specialties and believes hugs and love can save the world. She enjoys singing, dancing and playing soccer.

ABOUT THE ART - Seasons of Serenity

From Artist Allison Hobbs: Tori and I's time together was so special. Right away meeting her, I knew this time was a gift. Her passion for joy was undeniable. We talked about all the things she loves, and on paint day, she said she couldn't stop thinking about butterflies. We talked about how they have a social journey just like she does. She is so beautiful inside and out, just like they are, and her face lit up as we talked about how to draw a butterfly wing. it starts with a heart. We giggled because it was so fitting. We listened to music, laughed, and danced as we painted the butterflies that represent so much of her beautiful journey!
