Title: Foggy's Place

Artist: Donna Lochmann

Medium: Digital Photograph with repurposed wood window

Dimensions: 23" x 32"

Rescue Story:

The day we rescued Foggy we were there to get a nursing mom and her puppies. We had not been able to enter this trailer before, so we had only seen Foggy as a silhouette in a trailer window. When we finally gained access to the trailer, we were disgusted by the conditions these dogs had been living. It was covered with discarded furniture, trash, personal items and on top of all of that, from one end of the trailer to the other was feces. It was obvious that the dogs had been walking over everything, even the kitchen appliances, to use as the bathroom. In addition to all of that, one of Foggy's sibling had passed away on the floor in the front of the trailer.

We got mom and her 4 tiny babies safely in the jeep and decided there was no way we could leave this poor boy inside. Based on his age, we believe that he was part of a previous litter the current nursing mama had. We were able to rescue two from that previous litter, the other two we found deceased.

Foggy has come a long way in his foster home, but he is ready to find that family to love him forever.
