Rescue Story:

The eight dogs pictured here are just a few of the 35+ dogs that live on this property. Not one is healthy. There are dogs with neurological issues, no hair, covered in ticks and fleas, pregnant females, and skinny, bald puppies. They all roam the property. A few are able to go inside but having been inside, I can assure you they are better off outside. These dogs have never or rarely had human touch and have never been on leash.

We have made multiple trips here over the years and have rescued many. Unfortunately, when dealing with a property owner that has a hoarding mentality it feels like we are barely treading water. After pulling more dogs, we took our spay/neuter bus down and sterilized 18 animals from the property. Sadly, just months later we were back again this time rescuing puppies.

The dream is to clear this property and help all the dogs find homes. The reality is that there will always be dogs here that need help.

If you are the winning bidder and are not in attendance to pick up your artwork the night of the event at the Four Seasons, artwork will be available for pick up from the Pine Street Shelter starting Friday, August 9th. Artwork will NOT be available to pick up before this (unless you are notified otherwise via email). All winning bidders will receive an email with more information once the auction has closed.
