Pinakin R. Jethwa, M.D. is board-certified in Neurosurgery with fellowship training in Vascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery and the medical director of cerebrovascular neurosurgery at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ.

He grew up in Wayne, NJ and graduated from NA in 1998. He completed his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with Honors. Dr. Jethwa then attended Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark where he earned his Doctorate in Medicine. He then stayed on at Rutgers, completing his residency in Neurological Surgery in 2014. He went on to complete a fellowship in Cerebrovascular and Endovascular Neurosurgery at Capital Institute of Neurosciences in Trenton, NJ.

Dr. Jethwa has published numerous articles in prestigious medical journals, including Journal of Neurosurgery, Neurosurgery, and Journal of NeuroInterventional Surgery. He has been an invited lecturer at many National and International Conferences and remains active in clinical and translational research in neurosurgery and stroke care.
