Splendor at the Met!

Take in the splendor of The Metropolitan Museum of Art, as Sean Hemingway, Curator in Chargeof the Department of Greek and Roman Art, leads you on a personal tour of the museum's world-renowned collection of Greek and Roman antiquities, spanning from the Neolithic period (ca. 6000-3200 BC) through the time of the Roman emperor Constantine (fourth century AD).

Step into scenes of everyday life depicted on painted Greek vases. Marvel at the Roman wall paintings from two Pompeian villas, rock crystal, emerald encrusted gold jewelry from the age of Alexander the Great and monumental marble and bronze sculptures from the Greek and Roman periods. The Met's collection of archaic Attic sculpture (sixth century BC) is second only to that in Athens! The tour will include the recent installation of Cycladic art that was lauded in The New York Times Feb 2024!

Your personal tour is for four (4) guests and will be scheduled on a mutually agreed upon date: (Monday - Friday) in May, or August through December 15, 2024. Duration: 90 Minutes.

Value: Priceless!
