My name is Dalia Gonzalez, and I am both honored and proud to be part of this remarkable organization. In fact, my connection to the People's Health Clinic (PHC) goes beyond professional involvement - I have personally experienced the transformative impact of our services.

Growing up, I was a patient at the PHC, relying on the compassionate care and support the clinic provides to those without access to health insurance. Unfortunately, I wasn't eligible for Medicaid and State CHIP as a child since I was not born in the USA, even though I arrived when I was an infant, and my parents could not afford private insurance. I am thankful the PHC existed then, and I will never forget taking my first steps onto the original mobile clinic trailer.

Today, as the PHC Director of Operations and previous volunteer, I am delighted to be part of an organization that continues to make a profound difference in the lives of individuals and families in our community who lack the means to afford essential healthcare services. On a personal level, it is self-rewarding that I can give back what I was gifted as a child, access to healthcare and that I am part of the movement for health equity.

About the People's Health Clinic:

The People's Health Clinic was founded on the belief that health care is a human right, regardless of financial or legal status. Since 1999, the Clinic has been a volunteer-driven, community-supported, nonprofit medical home dedicated to providing free, high-quality health care to the uninsured residents of Summit and Wasatch Counties. Most of our patients are the very people who keep our resort town of Park City operating.  

This past year, we provided more than 12,000 patient encounters for the most vulnerable members of our community. We have also expanded our specialized programs, including women's health, mental health, hypertension, diabetes, and latent tuberculosis. The funds we raise from GivingTuesday will support these new and expanded services, as well as the foundational programs that are vital to The People's Health Clinic. Our need for services has soared, and we need your help to ensure our funding can match that!
