Additional Silent Auction Terms & Conditions

1. Bidding Process: Bidders must register to participate in the silent auction. Registration includes providing accurate contact and payment information.
2. Bidding Increments: Starting bids at 50% of Fair Market Value with 15% bidding increments thereafter.
3. Auction Item Descriptions: All items are sold "as is." Descriptions of auction items are provided to the best of Sandy Hook Promise's knowledge, and no guarantees or warranties are expressed or implied.
4. Opening and Closing Times: The silent auction will open at 4:00pm on Sunday, January 28, 2024 and close at 12:00pm on January 30, 2024. Late bids will not be accepted.
5. Winning Bids: The highest bid at the close of the auction is the winning bid. In the event of a dispute, Sandy Hook Promise Foundation reserves the right to determine the winning bidder.
6. Payment:  Winners must make payment for their winning bids in full by 12:00pm on January 30, 2024. Accepted forms of payment include VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX/DISCOVER.
7. Item Collection: Winning bidders are responsible for collecting their items. Sandy Hook Promise Foundation will provide details on item collection within individual item details on https://sandyhook.givesmart.com
8. Item Redemption:  Certain items may have expiration dates or specific redemption instructions. It is the responsibility of the winning bidder to adhere to these terms.
9. Dispute Resolution:  In the event of a dispute, Sandy Hook Promise Foundation's decision is final. Disputes should be submitted in writing to Dawn Lyons within 5 business days..
10. Tax Deductibility: Bidders are advised to consult with a tax professional regarding the tax deductibility of their winning bids.
11. Auction Closing: The silent auction will officially close at 12:00pm on January 30, 2024.. Bidders are encouraged to monitor their bids and actively participate until the closing time.
12. Bidder Conduct: Sandy Hook Promise Foundation reserves the right to remove any bidder engaging in inappropriate conduct or violating these terms and conditions.
13. Updates and Amendments: Sandy Hook Promise Foundation reserves the right to update or amend these terms and conditions. Any changes will be communicated to registered bidders.
