This fossil, from the Green River Formation in Wyoming, demonstrates a mass mortality of Knightia, a fresh water fish.

Excavated from the same quarry where Steve Gieser and Ruth Williams dig fossils every summer with paleontologists from The Field Museum, this fossil is a classic specimen from the 60 million year old fresh water lake.

Stand included.

Donated By Ruth D. Williams, MD and Stephen C. Gieser, MD, MPH
