Amigos de Alivio embrace the Alivio mission, help communicate the Alivio story to others, open doors of opportunity for Alivio through identifying, recruiting and developing new friends to support Alivio's mission. Each amigo pledges a $1,500 unrestricted gift every calendar year.

Alivio Medical Center's patients are uninsured, working poor individuals who are predominantly Mexican immigrants. Historically, they have not accessed healthcare due to language and cultural barriers, intimidation of traditional healthcare institutions, little awareness of available resources, and fear of immigration status.

Contributions from the Amigos de Alivio enable Alivio to continue and to expand services that will help its patients. Their unrestricted gifts are the most flexible kind of donation because they allow Alivio to address immediate needs, strengthen ongoing programs, or expand our services to best serve our community.

As an Amigo de Alivio, your name will be listed in Alivio Medical Center's annual report, semi-annual newsletter and website, and you will receive special recognition at Alivio's annual benefit. As an intangible benefit, you will become a steward of Alivio, taking responsibility and contributing time, talent and treasure. These rewards are felt in the heart, and by everyone around you.
