2014, 2015 & 2016 Pinot Noir Magnums

Nicolas-Jay is the story of a three-decade friendship between famed Burgundian winemaker Jean-Nicolas Meo and visionary music entrepreneur Jay Boberg, and their shared love of Oregon Pinot Noir. Enjoy their Willamette Valley Pinot Noir magnums from 2014, 2015 and 2016. Each bottling is extremely limited.

The 2014 Willamette Valley pinot noir opens up with luxurious layers of blackberry and raspberry jam, underscored by rich tannins. Beneath the bright expression of fruit lies sophisticated notes of fresh loamy soil, black tea, dried cherries and the sweetness of fresh herbs.

The 2015 Willamette Valley is a rich, tight and expansive red with remarkable balance. It starts on the nose, with black cherry fruit aromas underscored by hints of smoke, fresh loamy soil, violets, and cassis. On the palate, bright, almost juicy fruit is supported by intense minerality and phenomenal length.

The 2016 Willamette Valley is a moderate garnet color with enticing aromas of black cherry, black raspberry, earthy flora and a touch of oak. Ravishing mid weight fruit flavors of dark cherry, blueberry and boysenberry that are forward and giving. Very silky in the mouth, with gentle tannins and a generous, juicy finish.
