Auction Rules

• Contents of auction packages may be subject to blackout dates, expiration dates, availability, location guidelines, date restrictions and / or other auction donor restrictions - ALL OF WHICH ARE FINAL. No extensions or exceptions can be made.
  
• All bids in the Silent Auction must comply with opening and minimum bid or will not be valid.
  
• Winning bidders that are present at Drive 4 Dinger should check out online and report to the auction area at the venue to pick up items.  You do not need to be present to win.  Winning bidders that are not present at the event check out online and The Heimerdinger Foundation will contact you the following week to make arrangements to pick up your items at The Heimerdinger Foundation office.
  
• Payment in full must be made following the close of the Auction via Credit Card. The Credit Card on file will be charged at the conclusion of the program.
  
• All persons who bid in the Live and Silent Auction agree to pay the amount for said item(s) if they are determined to be the final bidder. The auctioneer will be the final judge of the successful bidder in the Live Auction and the Auction Closer will be the final judge of the successful bidder in the Silent Auction.
  
• For those in attendance of the event on June 16th, auction merchandise should be claimed and removed from the event by the winning bidder at the end of the evening. Items not claimed will either be shipped to the winning bidder at the bidder's expense, or may be picked up at the Heimerdinger Foundation office
  
• Please retain your receipt for tax purposes. The purchase price minus stated fair market value is the tax-deductible portion of your contribution, as allowed by law.

REMOTE BIDDERS: You do NOT have to be present to bid on the LIVE Auction. If you are interested in bidding in the Live Auction but are not going to be at the event, please contact Katharine Ray, Executive Director of The Heimerdinger Foundation, at [email protected] or call the office: 615-730-5632 (preferred) or mobile: 615-415-6795 in advance to set up your proxy bids.

To bid remotely, the foundation will need from you:

• Your contact information (name, address, email and cell phone number)
  
• Your credit card information (card type, name on card, expiration date, and security code on back) to assign a remote/proxy bidder for you at the event
  
• Your credit card information will have to be registered with Gesture, our online auction company for that night
  
• Your highest bid that you would want to have placed that evening during the LIVE bidding
  In the event you are the winning bidder, you will be notified right away and your card will be charged.
