Together,( with Chef Dan Sheahan ) you will create a menu that speaks to YOU and your dining partner. He wants to provide you both with appetizers, salad, entrees, unique vegetable and starch options that WOW each of you, or perhaps just satisfy a food curiosity that you've had for some time. Then we finish with some sugar.

You will be gastronomically fulfilled at meals' end?. I promise! All YOU provide is the place and serving vessels such as plates, etc. and the beverages of your choice. And we'll do this when YOU want to do it.

There are no deadlines or blackout dates here. Pick a date that has meaning, where you can be truly one with your dining partner. I'll shop for it, I'll prep and finish everything without you having to do anything besides letting me in the door. I'll stay until the last dish is dried and put away - or until you kick me out?whichever comes first.

Don't worry about making your kitchen appealing and Chef-ready; I've cooked in the homes of
billionaires and their junk drawers, ovens and range-tops look EXACTLY like ours! I can find my way
around most anyone's kitchen and will leave it as clean as I found it with no breakage or disappointments.

If I can source the necessary items from within the great City of Chicago, then I can deliver it to your
plate guaranteed?

About the Chef:

Chef Dan Sheahan is a follower of Christ who has attended Gurnee Community Church for nearly twenty
years with his wife Holly and their two children. One of his most self-recognized spiritual gifts comes in
the form of providing hospitality to others. Food and dining are very emotionally charged aspects of
peoples lives, and Chef Dan seeks to connect people through his service to others from the kitchen. Chef
Dan believes in the importance of the support crucial to the budding young parents in Kindred Life
Ministries.

Chef Sheahan's 36-year career began as a graduate of the prestigious Culinary Institute of America
(Hyde Park, NY). Some of his roles include positions such as Lead Cook in the Palace Arms Dining Room
of the Brown Palace Hotel (Denver, CO), Executive Chef for Compass Group, Inc., Executive Chef for Kraft
General Foods Frozen Products Group. As Chef Manager for Sodexo, Inc, he managed a season as the
lead production Chef for the Chicago Bears at Halas Hall in Lake Forest, Illinois. Chef Sheahan is
comfortable in managing both front of house as well as back of house operations in any setting, has
considerable working knowledge of wines and spirits, as well as off-premise catering operations.
He is comfortable working within the world of Classical Haute Cuisine, fusion cooking, Classic Italian fare
or American regional cuisine. Chef Dan can rock the BBQ grill or roll a mean Burrito, poach the perfect
piece of fish or present eye-appealing brunch fare. Chef Dan loves a challenge.

And in the end? his favorite items to cook are those items that HIS GUESTS want the most!
