Boeing McDonnell Douglas MD-80's JT8D Genuine Pratt & Whitney Engine 'Burner Can' Table

The first in the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 family of twinjets entered into service in 1980; the company built nearly 1,200 MD-80s and variants over a 20-year period. This intriguing artifact is a genuine engine 'burner can' (combustion chamber) from a MD-80's Pratt & Whitney low-bypass JT8D turbofan engine. This piece, made from Hastaloy X and Inconel 625 alloys and 410 stainless steel, has been cleaned, polished, given a quality clear powder coat and has been fitted with a beautiful polished 1/2" glass table top. Perfect for the den, office or your hangar! Boeing Store Certificate of Authenticity is included.

Note: Measures 24"H x 30" in diameter (tabletop) by 15" in diameter (base) and weighs 85 pounds. This artifact is sold "as is" with no guarantee that the decommissioned parts maintain any original function. Not for flight use. Shipping at winning bidder's expense.
