Jeff Hunter is an incarcerated artist and states, "As a former Sergeant in the United States Army, I served my country proudly for nearly fourteen years. So it was almost expected after I learned the art of bead making, that I put my talent to use honoring one of the symbols I hold most dear to me. - The United States Flag." Fair Market Value $100.00.

Details:

This six by nine inch flag is made completely out of beads, stitched together in what the Native Americans called a "Peyote" stitch. In this way, the beads interlock with each other while the thread courses through the middle of each bead. This flag has several interesting qualities such as:

· There are over 18,000 beads individually stitched together.

· It took nearly three months of daily work to complete this.

· The gold beads used are of the highest quality and will not tarnish.

Note: There is a slight anomaly in the beading that occurred during shipping.
