Far Niente is consistently recognized as a benchmark producer of Napa Valley Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon. A dedication to winemaking in its highest form, paired with a focus on houses style, vineyard ownership, and social responsibility, has established Far Niente as one of the world's greatest wine estates. This tour for four begins with a walk through the historic, tri-level winery, which is built into the surrounding hillside. Guests will see the 40,000 square-foot Far Niente wine aging caves, which were the first modern wine caves built in North America when excavation began in 1980. Tastings follow each tour and feature the current releases of Far Niente estate wines, including a Napa Valley Chardonnay and Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon, as well as carefully aged Chardonnay and Cabernet from the Far Niente Cave Collection. A seasonal cheese pairing is also featured. Each tasting ends with a taste of Dolce, the sumptuous, late harvest wine produced by Far Niente's sister winery, also called Dolce.

Auction purchases are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law; please consult your tax professional. Purchased items may be picked up at the Giant Steps office, or arrangements may be made for shipping at the expense of the auction winner, so long as all items are obtained by or shipped to the purchaser no later than four weeks after the auction close. Alcohol will not be shipped, and must be retrieved by the winner unless otherwise arranged; all individuals involved in the procurement of alcohol must be age 21 or older. Items not retrieved within that time frame will result in voiding the sale and any funds received by Giant Steps will be reclassified as a charitable contribution.
