Harper, formally Jellybelly...happy to be rescued from a SHELTER in SARASOTA FL....She was most grateful to get rid of that name.... Having lost my pup at 17 tI was pretty resigned to not getting another.. ...It was such a painful loss. Fast forward three years.... While checking on my rental Property in Siesta Key Fl..I had flown down just for two days...I was dropping off toys at local animal shelter and she had just been turned in with a suitcase and a note. She was simply too much for this older owner...I was stunned when I saw her as she looked so much like my girl who had passed. Too much like my girl. Having just read "A Dog's Purpose"...I said to myself..."if she has spots on tongue its a sign..well she has three...than I needed one more sign..."if she drinks out of water bottle"..well next thing I know...cancelled my flight...rented one way car..and she sat like perfect passenger excited for her new adventure. She loves long runs on lakefront, ..or walking along mag mile entering all the dog friendly stores (there are lots)..and playing with pups in the park. She loves all the doormen greeting her...she was born to be City Girl . SHe has also been to Calif twice on a road trip with her mom. SHe loves all animals..big and small...all people big and small....she has a bit of a lounge act..if you get her perfect spot..she sings....
