About LCpl Robert J Curtis

LCpl Robert J Curtis is a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corp. LCpl Curtis was deployed for three separate tours in Iraq. During his second tour in Iraq, he was wounded in Fallujah on April 11, 2004. He was awarded with a Purple Heart for his wounds and returned to combat.

Family:

In 2010, LCpl Curtis received his Honorable Discharge Certificate for his service and got married. Him and his wife Rhonda have 3 dogs and a son - Robert Torrey Curtis, born in 2012. He named his son after himself and his fellow Marine LCpl Torrey L Gray who was killed in action on April 11, 2004.

Wood working:

In 2014 LCpl Curtis (Bobby) woke up in the middle of the night to tell his wife he had a dream that he bought a wood lathe. This dream occurred at least 3 times before his wife said, "Go! Buy one." Bobby had minimal knowledge on how to use the lathe but he purchased one and learned as he went along. Having the support of his wife, Rhonda, he has found that creating these bowls, wine stoppers, bottle openers and so much more is sometimes a therapeutic release for his PTSD. The couple has started to use Patriotic Frog as the name for their combined efforts in creating unique items. Bobby is the Custom Creator of most items and Rhonda is the Creative Support helping with all of the finishing touches.
