When we set out over a year ago with the dreams of raising a set of purebred brahman calves we figured we needed to start with the best. I called Mr. Jim Williams at V8 Ranch and the rest is history! We have been very lucky acquiring elite Brahman females that have worked well for us thus far. With that being said, we are offering our good fortune in this lot with 3 sexed heifer embryos sired by Mr. V8 243/7 that was Grand Champion Bull at the 2013 San Antonio Livestock Exposition and is a direct son of the great 380 bull. On his first outing at the 2012 Kickoff Classic, he was selected as Calf Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Bull. Many people have been extremely impressed with 243/7 and like him for his tremendous muscle and versatility in breeding. He is a son of JDH Ms Water Manso 239, a Liberty 847 daughter. The dam of these embryos is our "Rose" donor cow HCK Lady Von Suvana; bred in the Koontz program resulting from an embryo/flush opportunity from V8 Ranch. Rose is a daughter of Mr. V8 901/4 that needs no introduction to the Brahman breed. We might be new to the purebred Brahman segment of the world but our genetics are rich with history. Offering 3 sexed heifer IVF embryos guaranteeing 1 pregnancy if work is done by a certified ET specialist.
