Improv Class:

The ComedySportz Training Center is here to help those who have never been on stage learn how to do comedy like the professionals! Our classes improve public speaking skills, confidence, memory, and awareness - all within a safe and supportive environment. Improv isn't about being funny - it's about being you.

Classes are offered every six weeks and are intended to be taken in numerical order. Every class culminates with a student showcase to celebrate your progress!

All classes are held at the CSz Chicago Training Center (3435 N. Sheffield) *Must be at least 18 to enroll.

Located in the heart of the Windy City's vibrant Lakeview neighborhood, CSz Theater Chicago is a cozy, intimate, customizable 137-seat theater and lobby built specifically for interactive comedy shows and creativity workshops. The theater has a full service bar (with no drink minimum!) offering adult beverages including: local craft beers, distinctive wines, specialty cocktails, family-friendly mock-tails and snacks. The theater is handicapped accessible and is just steps from the Belmont Red and Brown line stop.

Come see our flagship ComedySportz show on Thursdays and Fridays at 8 p.m., and Saturdays at 6, 8 and 10 p.m., a Chicago comedy staple since 1987, or our rotating Signature Shows on off- and late-nights with your family and friends in our famous Wrigleyville location. Celebrate the holidays with us (special shows almost every month of the year!) Bring your office mates, faith communities, tour or Meet Up groups, college and university organizations, clubs, and/or birthday, bat/bar mitzvahs, bachelor/ette, retirement parties - whatever you dream up, we'll provide comedy for everyone! We also host classes and lectures, meetings and teambuilding events, and offer full sound, lighting and audiovisual screens, as well as event planning, technicians and catering options.
