Toast Umoja's 20th Anniversary with an Instant Wine Cellar! Umoja's Board Members have donated 20 bottles of unique, hard-to-get wines worth over $2,500! A sampling of sparklers, reds, and whites for you to enjoy for years to come including:

  • The 2013 Champagne Benoit Dehu "La Rue des Noyers" is a true rarity. At this tiny eighth-generation cellar, only one Champagne is produced - and just 2400 bottles per vintage. A toast to your winning bid with this amazing champagne!
  • From the minds of Screaming Eagle comes its sister winery Jonata - quite possibly California's next big cult winery. Enjoy their 2011 cabernet El Desafio "The Defiant!"
  • An amazing white burgundy, the 2015 Caroline Morey Chassagne-Montrachet "Les Champs-Gains" Premier Cru is made by the famed winemaking Morey family. Only 3 bottles of this beautiful chardonnay came to Chicago this year.
  • Bob Foley spent 15 years as founding winemaker at the famous Pride Mountain Vineyards. Now he produces exceptional wines under his own name, with only 1500 barrels per year. Try this 2011 Robert Foley Vineyards Cabernet as an introduction to his craft honed over the past 40 years.
  • A bottle of 2011 Vina Sastre Ribera del Duero "Pago de Santa Cruz" Grand Reserva is from one of Spain's most renowned wineries. Pago de Santa Cruz is their top vineyard, with very old vines, many over 100 years of age. The Gran Reserva is aged for 30 months in barrel and an additional 3 years in bottle.
  • From Paul Hobbs, the Steve Jobs of Wine, comes a beautiful 2014 Napa Valley Cabernet with a long, velvety finish that critics have called a "killer wine" and "the best ever."
  • Since 1896, the Massolino family in Piedmont, Italy has been making wine for four generations. Sip their 2012 Massolino Barolo "Parafada" knowing that Chicago received only 36 bottles of this exceptional single vineyard Barolo.
  • Boyanci was named one of 5 Rising Star wineries by Wine Spectator, focusing their annual production on only a thousand cases of 3 wines, so enjoy their hard-to-get Boyanci red as well as a MAGNUM of their Inspire Cabernet, especially knowing that Boyanci donates 10% of their proceeds to charity!
