The donor dam of this lot is a direct daughter of EXAR Rita U049, who was the $62,000 ½ interest selection of Pollard Farms from the 2012 EXAR Big Event Sale. In that same event, U049 produced the Kiamichi Link Ranch selection, EXAR Rita 2815 and the $30,000 EXAR Rita 1766 selected by Bob Ballew that would be maternal sisters to Rita 4139. In the 2016 Pollard Sale, ½ interest in a maternal sister to the donor dam of this lot, PF 7008 Rita 4619, was the $35,000 ½ interest selection of Black Gold while a heifer pregnancy out of a maternal sister to Rita 4139 by Rampage sold to High Roller for $20,000. Including the daughters listed above, U049 has more than $500,000 in progeny sales to date, including a $15,000 heifer pregnancy selected by Kiamichi Link from the 2014 Pollard sale and four of the most popular and valuable heifer calves in the 2011 Big Event where a Consensus daughter sold half interest for $27,000 with another selling for $20,000 while a Complete daughter sold half interest for $14,500 while her sister sold for $13,000 with another daughter of her by Consensus selected by Bob Ballew for $19,000 in the 2012 Bases Loaded Sale while a Consensus son, EXAR Signature 1777B sold one-half interest for $14,500 to Larson Angus Ranch in Kansas in the 2012 Express Spring Bull Sale. In the March 2015 Express bull sale, EXAR Hi-Tech, a maternal brother to Rita 4139, sold for $28,000 as one of the most popular bulls of the day with another maternal brother selling for $15,000. Rita 4139 traces to the Express HD50K cornerstone donor New Design 1200, who sold half interest for $160,000 and is a daughter of the Angus breed's all-time top income producing cow with the famous and valuable maternal siblings to this female produced at Express including the $171,000 top-selling female of the 2006 Big Event whose flush brother, EXAR Rito 5118 of Rito 1I2 sold half interest for $96,000 to top the 2006 Express Fall Bull Sale and become a resident herd sire at Pollard Farms. The sire to this mating, STUD, is a deep ribbed, heavy muscled bull with good feet and an attractive profile. STUD is a calving-ease bull with a powerful look and exceptional balance across all aspects of performance - growth, efficiency, maternal and carcass traits. The dam of STUD is making her mark as one of the dominant herd sire producers within the Angus breed. BoBo Rita 1559 is also the dam of EXAR Rapture 5844B, EXAR Spread 5767B, EXAR Profiteer 5730B, and EXAR Prophetic 5732B. STUD adds length and style, and overall performance superiority.
