Bid on an opportunity to live the craft beer life for a day! You will spend a day with Andy Reynolds (on an agreed upon date/time), owner & head brewer of Alexandria Brewing Company, brewing a beer on their 5 barrel brewhouse, while designing your very own beer with him. During this day, you will learn what goes into recipe development, the difference in brewing certain styles of beer, and develop an idea for the complete brewing process. You will also take part in sensory training as you taste beer that is working in the fermenter and help detect flaws or off flavors.

You will then spend a second day (on an agreed upon date/time) brewing your beer with Andy on their pilot system (approximate 15.5 gallons or one keg) that will be sold in their taproom under the name you give it. That name is subject to approval from Alexandria Brewing Company and the TTB. The day your beer is released Alexandria Brewing Company will donate their private event room for you to invite up to 25 of your closest family and friends. Unfortunately, Kentucky law prohibits the donation of any beer to this party, but the first beer for the winner of this auction will be on the house. Food is not included in package and may not be brought into the brewery. If you would like to have your party catered, you will need to contact Andy Reynolds to make those arrangements.
