With the 1999 purchase of the Animo (Italian for "spirit") vineyard, perched high atop Atlas Peak, the Mondavis began a new chapter of their winemaking legacy with the creation of the Michael Mondavi Family Estate. See and taste for yourself this important piece of American wine history!

Join the Michael Mondavi Family for an exclusive 2018 harvest experience. You will be chauffeured from your Napa Valley lodging to the family's Animo vineyard-home to their lauded M by Michael Mondavi Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon arrival, you will walk among and taste the grapes, experiencing some of the magic that goes into choosing the best fruit and picking windows for every harvest. Afterward, enjoy a tasting of wine components from the Estate and lunch with the family, including wines from Michael's private cellar from the 1980s and 1990s in Napa Valley. The winning bidder will also receive two magnums each of the 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2014 vintage M by Michael Mondavi.
