William Cole Vineyards' Bill Ballentine is a fourth generation winemaker who has perfected the art of the winemaking process. Each vineyard block is harvested, fermented, and barrel aged separately, resulting in wines with layers of complexity and dimension.

Start the evening off with a private tour of their new Howell Mountain Estate Predecessor, followed by dinner with Jane and Bill Ballentine at the historic winery of William Cole Vineyards in St. Helena. You will learn about the property's history as you tour the stone building that was completed in 1876. A private chef will perfectly pair each wine and course together, creating a memorable evening at the vineyard.

Each couple will receive an imperial of the Cuvée Claire Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 to add to their personal collection, named after the Ballentine's treasured daughter. In Bill's own words, "the 'Cuvée Claire' is allowed to work its magic slowly, which we believe results in a complex, elegant wine that represents the best of Napa Valley."
