The Château Cheval Blanc 2005 holds its own with a perfect rating from Robert Parker. His review can barely contain his excitement: "I don't mean to gush, but it is super-intense, rich, and just so meticulously crafted!" The Château Lafite Rothschild 2005, on the other hand, can be better defined as an elegant representation that unfurls over time in the glass. Its payoff comes in the form of a beautifully balanced poise over the intensity of fruit. Finally, the Château Haut-Brion 2009 packs a punch from its complex blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc-not to mention, the highest alcohol volume ever achieved from the estate (14.3%)!
