To honor the legacy and vision of Shirley Welsh Ryan, Wine Auction 2018 Co-Chairs Keith Kiley Goldstein and Nancy S. Searle have donated a magnificent case of our Honored Guests' wine.

The Women's Board is proud to feature women as both the Honoree and Honored Guest at this special thirtieth anniversary auction. Simultaneously celebrate the achievements of Shirley Welsh Ryan, as well as Corinne Mentzelopoulos and Alexandra Petit-Mentzelopoulos of Château Margaux, with this special lot!

This 1990 case of Château Margaux comes directly from the famed collection of the late Aubrey K. McClendon, who was at one time the world's largest buyer of Classified Growth Bordeaux and arguably one of the most important wine collectors in America.

The 1990 vintage easily surpasses both the 1988 and 1989, and earned a perfect 100-point rating by Robert Parker. Somehow maintaining a low acidity in tandem with full-bodied richness, this wine has aged beautifully and is ready to take center stage in your personal cellar!
