The Harlans: Titans of the Napa Valley Wine Cult. They are the ultimate winemakers in California, deservedly credited with a reputation for the region's best red varietals. Between Harlan Estate, Bond, and Meadowood resort, Bill Harlan is simply a Napa icon-and his son, Will, is following in his footsteps.

Lay claim to your share of the Harlan legacy through this lot, which features a vertical from the Harlans' latest project: Promontory. This winegrowing endeavor is a family affair, with Will Harlan as the property's Managing Director. With Governor Bruce Rauner signing on as a silent partner since the very beginning, the project has strong ties to Illinois as well. The goal is clear: create something with great character and potential to go beyond anything they've done yet. Robert Parker agrees that collectors "should plan on placing Promontory's Proprietary Red in the same context as Harlan Estate." Not only will you enjoy five vintages of Promontory, you will visit the property yourself for a private visit and tasting.

YOUR TRIP FOR EIGHT INCLUDES:

• a tour of the winery, including a cask tasting-young wine not yet bottled-in the cellar among Austrian oak casks
• tastings of several different vintages, including the upcoming release and a library selection, in a private room
