Napa Valley

What began as a casual family hobby for Dick and Ann Grace accidentally grew into Napa Valley's first "cult" wine. Since their initial harvest in 1978, Grace Family Vineyards has built a name for itself as the creators of Napa's rare, world-class Cabernet Sauvignon. Celebrate two incredible achievements in one lot: the thirtieth anniversary of Lyric's first Wine Auction and the fortieth anniversary of the Grace family's first harvest.

This vertical was assembled by our dear friend John Hart, a longtime supporter and Advisor of the Wine Auction, as well as Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Hart Davis Hart Wine Co. John has carefully selected a case of special reserves from Grace Family Vineyards-each bottle well balanced and unique, high in flavor and long-lived. Of the vintner, John Hart tells us, "[They are]?one of the most sought-after wines, when available. The older vintages are seldom available. Only the highest quality French oak is used to create the wine, with an average of two and a half years aging."
