Introducing the "Herd Feeder Stone"

- The Herd Feeder shown here for the Saddlebred Auction and on our website uses Kentucky Dry Stack in Frosted Gray faux stone. There are over 100 different stone finishes to choose from! Ordering one for your barn? Our design team will coordinate with you to match your style.
- Faux Panels are made of a high-density polyurethane. Our panels and siding are molded from actual rock, stone, and brick, so they are lightweight, durable, realistic and easy to install. The panels boast an incredible resistance to all forms of wear and tear, including harsh weather conditions such as heat, cold, moisture and sunlight. They also stand up beautifully to insect and pest damage, and will not crack, fade or peel even years after being installed.
- Cedar trim, stained to your preference to match the stone
- Double wall construction
- 30 year architectural shingles
- Open gable roof design
- HF Drop Down Feed Shelf for easy loading- Pickup truck bed height. Allows for lateral movement of bales instead of having to lift them up
- Stainless steel door hinges. American made. Lay flat.
- HF horse safe latch. American made. Lays flat and won't catch halters.
- Semi-Monocoque Construction. Same type of construction used in helicopters and high-performance aircraft. Maximizes interior space while having an extremely strong inner shell.
- All Feeders include a 1 Year Warranty on Parts.
Retail Value $5,495

Herd Feeder- It's Herd Tested Tough!

Durability: We tested the Herd Feeder Concept on our own herd first. Seven horses, a pony, two goats and a miniature donkey. Brutal Wisconsin winters, hot summers, snow, rain, mud? you get it. Over three years of use with no failures and completely healthy animals. Multiple different settings and breeds have since tested the feeder with excellent results!

Saves you Time and Money: Do you hate wasting hay? No more worries. The Herd Feeders hold about a dozen small square bales, and they keep the hay clean and dry. The animals eat what they pull out, and if the fines drop on the ground they clean it up. Load about once a week, and you can pick the time when it's convenient for you. Loads fast too!

Healthier Animals: The HF Feed Shelf allows you to inspect each leaf as you load it. No more worries about mold or trash in the hay! Horses are also healthiest if they can graze in a natural head-down position. Herd Feeders are Slow Feeders, and slow feeding can prevent a host of gastric issues by allowing clean fiber in the gut all day.

Highly Customizable: Herd Feeder carries a wide range of styles to meet your needs and price range. We can finish our feeders to match your barn and buildings. Need a custom design? You dream it- we can build it.

Ergonomic Design: No heavy lifting. Back your pickup truck full of hay up to the HF Feed Shelf, stand in the bed and load hay. If you are taller, stand on the ground to laterally transfer the hay. Easy.

Safe: The HF Horse Safe Latch and stainless steel hinges lay flat. Nothing to grab halters or poke faces. Herd Feeders are stable and heavy enough that they cannot be pushed or kicked over.
