ARTIST: Beth Ann Eline
My cat is painted starting from the front as a regular colored cat painted with a pearlized paint. As you progress back, the cat's fur slowly changes colors to darker pearlized blues and deep violets to represent the evening sky ending with the darkest color at the tip of the tail. There are tiny crystals representing glittering stars over the body of the cat. The colors of the stars change in correspondence with color of the paint. The cat is standing on a small flat wooden bridge that is just a bit longer than the body of the cat. The bridge is painted in various golden tones. The wood is painted to simulate a wood grain texture.
