Mike Pender is a multiple graded stakes winning trainer who's been covered by ESPN and NBC Sports. His top horse, Jeranimo, has raced in the $2 million Breeder's Cup Turf Mile the last two years and has made over $1 million in earnings. You and your party will come out to the Pender Racing barn and meet top horses such as these and interact with them as Mike explains what it takes to train an elite thoroughbred racehorse. After visiting at the stables, we will accommodate you at the prestigious Santa Anita Turf Club with its beautiful, classy 1930s decor for discussion on understanding horse racing and also handicapping the winners for that day! If Mike Pender has a racehorse going that day, he will have you and your party join him in the paddock for the pre-race preparations including meeting and greeting the jockey who will be riding his racehorse. And if the racehorse wins, you will be joining the team in the winner's circle for pictures which everyone in your party will receive after, so let's hope for a win that day!
