Sweden: The island Tyskär once belonged to the famous Gripsholm Castle that is located about 500 meters in front of the island in view from the house. In the castle there is a collection of 10,000 paintings and most of the interior is intact and its open for visits every day. Located nearby for your enjoyment is Mariefred, a medieval small town with only 4,000 people. There you can find nice restaurants, cafés and shops and even a steam train from the 19th century. You can go to Stockholm by car (50 minutes), train (45 minutes) or by steamship, more than 100 years old, (3.5 hours). Package Includes: A seven-night stay for 4 people on the private island Tyskär . Included in the stay at Tyskär is use of a small motorboat, welcome bottle of Moet Champagne and a fridge full of food for your enjoyment. Based on availability; mid August-October 2017.
