This unique clinic will take your relationship with your horse to the next level. Whether you want to become a movie horse trainer, live show entertainer or maybe just have this unique understanding of how to teach your horse the art of liberty training, this is the clinic for you. You will learn about mark training and the basics of your horse working around you and changing directions at liberty. As the days progress, we focus on the horses working in a much larger area and work to further develop the draw. By the end of the clinic, you will start to test you and your horse's foundation in various situations. Dan James of Double Dan Horsemanship has spent his entire career wowing audiences, pushing the bounds of equine entertainment, competing on an international stage, and educating horsemen and women around the world. Dan first learned about liberty training from world renowned movie horse trainer, Heath Harris. From there Dan went on to train liberty horses for television, movies, photoshoots, and entertainment including starting liberty horses for the hit show Heartland, doing stunts for The Walking Dead, and training horses for Cavalia. The participant spot can be used at the clinic in Midway, KY July 22-26, 2019 or the 5 Day Liberty Clinic that will be held in Midway, KY in 2020 (dates TBD). You may bring your own horse or use one of the horses at the Australian Equine Performance Center.
