About the Artist: Dian was born in Savannah Georgia and began working as a flight attendant with American Airlines at age 18. Her art career began late in her life. She lived most of her life in Jacksonville Florida, During her retirement she taught painting classes at Fleet Landing in Jacksonville .
She moved to Greensboro for a short time to me close to family. During that time she made quite an impact on Greensboro's Art Community. She was a member of Marshall Art Gallery, a progressive art gallery.
