Salvage Supperclub is the brainchild of Josh Treuhaft (Joanne & Bill Treuhaft's son) who has curated and hosted this event in New York City and San Francisco to critical acclaim. The event has been featured on Discovery Channel, NPR's The Salt and Food & Wine Magazine.

This dining event will center around a multi-course vegetable focused, communal table meal where every course features ingredients that would otherwise have been neglected (like broccoli stems, or carrot greens, bruised apples, ugly or surplus produce, etc).

Salvage Supperclub is not just about great food. The food is at the center of a dialogue about a more sustainable food system.

About the Chef:
A graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health and Culinary Arts, Lauren Chandler is a whole foods expert who has cooked at restaurants and taught culinary classes in Boston, New York & Oregon. Currently, she teaches clients through Lauren Chandler Cooks and develops and teaches culinary classes to future nutritionists and naturopathic physicians at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Lauren prepares plant based food that is so damn good, that Portland Food Writer Steven Shomler, "could eat every night and not miss meat." Chef Lauren will prepare amazing food that will not only delight and nourish but will also shine a light on the untapped potential in our food systems.
