A Unique Bowl
Sturdy colorless glass infused with purple make this a great piece for display, on a small frame or tabletop.
Born from sand and fire, glass is one of the most fascinating art forms. Opaque, translucent, etched, clear or infused with color, whisper-thin or inches thick, glass can be formed into anything in the artist's imagination.
A native of Cookeville, Tennessee, Jonathan Watson was introduced to glass while studying at the Appalachian Center for Craft. Currently the Artist in Residence at the Appalachian Center for Craft, Jonathan is developing a body of work inspired by his interest in science, especially astronomy.
