Two Item Lot:
Sid and Stacy have known each other for a long time, and Sid provided tutelage to Stacey when he was younger. Stylistically, the two are very different, but each does what he does very well.
Donated by Sid Luck, Luck's Ware, Seagrove, NC. Tradition given shape and form... Made by a skilled craftsman, a former NC Heritage Award winnder, this salt-glazed Rebecca pitcher, fired in a groundhog kiln, with its flowing, almost aqua blue and deep reddish-purple, glazes with some small crystalline structure and a nice kiln drip exudes tradition. Signed. 2016. 19.5" H x 8.5" Dia
Donated by Stacy Lambert, Stacy's Folk Art Pottery, NC. A folk art jug from one very creative mind, this face jug has an image on the front and a saying on the back that reads, "He asked her to trim his mullet. Some form of spirit of creativity took over her scissors. It was like going through puberty and stop listening to heavy metal all rolled into one." 7" H x 5" Dia
NOTE: If any items must be shipped to you, shipping charges will be necessary. The amount of those charges will vary depending on the size/weight of the pottery as well as your location. We encourage you to attend the event if possible or make other arrangements with us (336-873-8430), if necessary.
