Executive Chefs Shaun King of The Dawson and Michael Kornick of mk and the DMK Restaurants will join you in your home to prepare a six (6) course degustation dinner paired with wines from Chef Kornick's private cellar. The dinner will feature your favorite seasonal ingredients from the farmer's market. The Chefs will create every recipe specifically for you and your guests based on your food preferences. This special evening will be a once in a lifetime chance to curate a menu with two of Chicago's finest Chefs.

Chef Michael Kornick, founder and owner of mk the restaurant and co-owner of DMK Restaurants is a nationally-recognized leader in the culinary arts. Kornick works with the freshest seasonal ingredients and stays true to classical cooking techniques. It is his belief that the freshest ingredients are best cooked simply. In addition to his professional responsibilities, Kornick is very active in the community. He has raised awareness and money annually for Share our Strength, the Chicago Food Depository, Healthy Schools Campaign, Steppenwolf Theater, Perspectives Charter School, Sweet Water Foundation, Children's Oncology services Inc., and many other worthy organizations.

Shaun King was named executive chef of The Dawson in late 2014. His cooking, inspired by American Regional cuisine, uses bright, fresh ingredients to create dishes that are full of flavor.
Raised on the central coast of California, King took an avid interest in cooking from a young age. His love of seafood played a large part in deciding to become trained by a Japanese master chef, his childhood friend's grandfather. It was through this experience, King learned to appreciate the bold, yet subtle flavors of Japanese cuisine, as well as the disciplined seasonality each plate presented.
