A wood-fired dinner for ten (10) guests prepared by Green City Market's Board and Junior Board chefs. The dinner will be hosted at Nomad Kitchen space in North Center. Winners will enjoy seasonal courses paired with proprietary ciders from Farmhouse Chicago.

Eric Mansavage has served as Executive Chef of Farmhouse Chicago, Farmhouse Evanston and Lakeview's Farm Bar since their inception. He is a born-and-raised Wisconsin native who is taking his expertise and passion for slow food, local-sustainable cooking, and farming back to his kitchen. Chef Mansavage works with a number of local and urban farm programs around Chicago and passionately supports and advocates nutritional and youth development programs. Chef Mansavage is a dedicated member of the Board of Directors of the Green City Market.

Chef Jared Batson is the Executive Chef and Owner of The Nomad Food Company, LLC. Founded in 2013, Nomad is the result of years of restaurant industry experience, a passion for great food, and a desire to bring a new and unique culinary experience to the greater Chicagoland area. A nomad in his own right, Chef Batson has cooked and traveled across the country and worldwide, working under accomplished chefs in Chicago, California, and the esteemed Ballymaloe School in Ireland. Chef Batson is a dedicated member of Green City Market's Junior Board.

Scott Manley is the Executive Chef & Partner at Table, Donkey and Stick. A Georgia native, Manley originally came to Chicago in 2006 to visit family but ended up staying to pursue a culinary degree at Kendall College. After graduation, Manley worked under acclaimed chef Paul Virant at Michelin-star restaurant Vie where he expanded the restaurant's practice of whole animal butchery. Manley continued to develop his technique at another Michelin-star restaurant, Blackbird, under James Beard award-winning chef Paul Kahan, and as sous chef at Perennial Virant and EL Ideas. In 2012, Manley won the title of executive chef at Table, Donkey and Stick in a public pop-up dinner battle.

Sarah Stegner is Co-Chef and Co-Owner of Prairie Grass Cafe in Northbrook, Il. Prairie Grass Cafe has been open for 12 years and Chef Stegner's attention to quality and local, fresh ingredients has provided the springboard for her success. She has won two James Beard Awards and she is a founding member of Healthy Fair for Kids. Chef Stegner is a founding member of Green City Market who helped Abby Mandel start the market 17 years ago and she currently serves as Co-Chair of the Board of Directors.
