Guitarist/harp-guitarist Muriel Anderson returns to her hometown for her 25th annual concert & celebration. She is joined by guitarist (& humorist) from "A Prairie Home Companion" Pat Donohue. The show is hosted by Steve & Johnnie from WGN. The music is brought to life with stunning new visuals by renowned photo-artist Bryan Allen. Muriel's annual Thanksgiving weekend concert is a wonderful tradition here in our community.

Muriel Anderson is one of the few international touring guitarists / harp-guitarists equally at home with fingerstyle, bluegrass, classical, and international music. She hosts the renowned Muriel Anderson's ALL STAR GUITAR NIGHT , and currently has a FB video of Mark Knopfler's "Why Worry" that has upwards of 2 million views. She has recorded with country legend Chet Atkins, performed with jazz greats Les Paul and Victor Wooten and with classical orchestra. Her CD Nightlight-Daylight placed first in its category in 11 national awards, and is the first ever to incorporate interactive fiber optics.

She has published a number of books, DVDs, and Truefire courses and enjoys sharing her joy of music via her charity, the MUSIC-FOR-LIFE ALLIANCE. Muriel Anderson is the first woman to have won the National Fingerstyle Guitar Championship. Muriel's unique approach to the instrument virtually transforms the guitar into a lyrical choir, then a marching band, then a Japanese koto, then a Bluegrass band, one minute launching into a Beatles' tune and the next, Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez. Her gentle sense of humor and her facility across multiple genres of music is revered by guitarists worldwide.
