"Patisserie Le Petit Cateau" yellow and navy. Really cute hybrid between a small bench and a stool. Multi-purpose for all occassions and its a great decor piece.

Carolyn Garcia is a Texas artist and owner of the Carolyn Garcia Gallery in the museum district at 4704 Montrose Boulevard. Her word includes acrylic on canvas, watercolor, printmaking and mixed media applying all three mediums on paper and canvas. Carolyn studied art at The Glassell School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston and in workshops around the world. In 2004, she established the Museum District Artist Guild and opened the Carolyn Garcia Gallery featuring established and emerging artists connected to Texas. She is featured in collections around the US, Europe, Canada and Mexico.
Coincidentally, Carolyn's grandson Evan Garibay, Poe Elementary 4th Grade Student, set this entire commission up with his grandmother to donate to his school.
These wooden benches were handcrafted by the St. Luke's Woodshop Ministry especially for the Poe Auction. This ministry survives on volunteers, many of who are retired engineers and architects for Houston. They make over 7,000 wooden toys for children during the holidays and donate frequently to non-profits.
