"Hang Ten" on your very own custom made surfboard. Working with both Bill Davis and Steve Morris, Owner and Shaper of Longrider Surfboards, you will be involved in the entire process from beginning to end insuring that your board will be designed and built to meet your individual needs. The journey will begin with you, Bill and Steve coming together to discuss the various factors such as your height, weight, current surfing ability, surfing experience, where you surf, shape, and board preference (long or short). After these points have been thoroughly discussed and determined by both you and the shaper, work will begin on the board. You will be kept posted on your board's progress and have open dialogue with Bill and Steve throughout the entire board-building process. Plus you can meet with Steve at his Shaping Shed to see his design and shaping craftsmanship first-hand. If you don't understand the meaning of nose, tail, rail and rocker, you will when you finish - and you will be better surfer for it. You will also have the opportunity to discuss your preferences for artwork and color. If you desire to have a personal design, quote or even a picture to be placed on the board, Steve can make it happen. You will be "Stoked" to the Max! Not only do you get a new custom board which will optimize your surfing performance but you will also enhance your personal knowledge of a very important part of our sport - surfboard design and construction.
