Gabrielle and Arthur Sulzberger, Jr. will host a day in the publishing world like no other. They will provide a guided tour for two (2) of the New York Times news empire. The day will include attending a New York Times Page One Meeting as well. After the tour, Gabrielle and Arthur will host lunch at the New York Times offices. Expires 02/06/2018 and to be scheduled based upon mutual approval.
Gabrielle Sulzberger, a board member with 4word, is an accomplished financial services executive and corporate board director with more than 25 years experience. Gabrielle is a General Partner of Rustic Canyon/Fontis Partners, a private equity fund based in Pasadena, California. Previously, she was Chief Financial Officer of Gluecode Software, a venture-backed open source software company, which sold to IBM in 2005.
Gabrielle received her BA from Princeton University in 1981, graduating from the Urban Studies program at the Woodrow Wilson School. In 1987, she received her MBA from Harvard Business School and JD from Harvard Law School. Gabrielle currently chairs the board of Johnson Products and is a board director for Whole Foods as well as for Stage Stores. Gabrielle has served on numerous private company boards. Gabrielle lives in New York City and is passionate about traveling, hiking, reading, and her two daughters.
Arthur Sulzberger, became the publisher of The Times in 1992 and its chairman in 1997. He is a former chairman of New York City Outward Bound, the youth leadership program, and was the founding chairman of the Times Square Business Improvement District, now the Times Square Alliance. He graduated from Tufts. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Program for Management Development.
