Seadrift at Stinson Beach was created in the early '50s as an enclave of vacation homes for the wealthy families of San Francisco. That still holds true today as many of the original families still maintain their beach houses for getaways from the nearby City. Today, Seadrift is a private, gated community with over a mile and a half of pristine ocean beaches, a mile-long man-made lagoon perfect for swimming, kayaking and sailing, sand dunes and natural areas plus views of the Bolinas Lagoon wildlife preserve.
