Hands Quilt. A BATIK is a cloth that is traditionally made using a manual wax-resist dyeing technique and discoveries have it dating back to Egypt in the 4th Century BC! Fast forward to First Grade and 33 little artists using washable glue and acrylic paint on white cotton fabric. Once they were dry they were washed by hand in a whirlpool bathtub just as Jesus would have used! And off to the quilter's the fabric went and a beautiful quilt was created with love, patience and 33 little artistic hands.
