Interested in urban ADVENTURE?? Take a rarely-offered guided tour of Milwaukee's City Hall Bell Tower to ring City Hall's Solomon Juneau bell - the 11-ton bronze bell named after Milwaukee's first mayor.

Join this exclusive group on Friday, September 8, 2017 at 6:30 pm to learn about the history of this national treasure and to try your hand at tackling the giant clapper! Ascend City Hall's elevator to the ninth floor and then climb up five steep flights of stairs to reach the massive bell. On the way to the top of the tower, visit the former bell-ringer's quarters that now house the original massive clock hands. Enjoy remarkable views of the city of Milwaukee from the scenic landing and observation deck near the roof of City Hall.

After the tour and an up-close encounter with the massive city bell array - we'll continue our historical conversation with host Bob Giese of Historic Milwaukee, Inc. and raise a glass to Solomon Juneau!

Event date: September 8, 2017
