Champagne and Sparkling Wine!
A selection of six sparkling wines personally selected by Vin Chicago owner, Peter Schwarzbach

Charles Ellner "Carte Blanche" Brut Champagne NV
91/100 - Our Score.
91/100 - Wine Spectator. (7/31/2015) "An expressive Champagne, featuring flavors of white cherry, acacia blossom, spice and slivered almond, set on a refined bead and layered with sleek acidity. This is linear and focused, with a hint of salinity lingering on the finish. Drink now through 2020." (France)

Louis Regnier Brut Champagne NV
90+/100 - Our Score. (11/2015) We were super stoked to find this delicious bubbly from one of our direct sources in France. This blend of 35% Pinot Noir, 35% Pinot Meunier and 30% Chardonnay spent over three years on the lees, resulting in a deep straw yellow color and a richly textured palate. Look for flavors of yellow apple, almond butter and toast. An outstanding Champagne. (France)

Cave de Bissey Cremant de Bourgogne Brut NV
90/100 - Our Score. (11/2015) This excellent sparkling value comes from the Burgundy region of France. Made using the traditional Champagne Method, the Cave de Bissey spends an impressive 30 months on its lees, though you'd never guess it given the fresh, clean profile. (France)

Schramsberg North Coast Brut Blanc de Blancs 2012
92/100 - Wine Advocate. (12/31/2015) "This is a killer effort and it's my go-to sparkling wine when I'm at restaurants since it's always available at a fair price. The Davies family thinks this can last 20 years, but for most readers, they might prefer to drink it upon release and over the following 4-5 years." (California)

Gloria Ferrer "Royal Cuvee" Carneros Brut 2006
94/100 - Wine & Spirits. (12/2014) "The Ferrer family created Royal Cuvée to serve King Juan Carlos I and Queen Sofia of Spain when they visited California in 1987. Blended from many of the best lots at the family's Carneros estate, it's quite impressive." (California)

Graham Beck Western Cape Brut Rose NV
90/100 - Our Score. This South African estate is known for their high quality sparkling wines made using the traditional method of Champagne. An attractive salmon-pink colored blend of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir, their Rosé offers appealing aromas of fresh red berries and youthful red flowers along with a brisk, bright palate presence. (South Africa)
