Team Captains

Team Captain

Start a team by rallying your friends, family and colleagues to join you - ask far and wide because you never know who wants to make a difference!

Friends or family can "sponsor" your steps to help a Native American receive assistance for a college education.

You can even invite people to participate virtually so that no matter where they are, they can stay connected to your team and the walk for students where they live.

What is Mocc Walk:

Steps For Scholarships is a community event bringing awareness of November as National Native American Heritage Month. Proceeds from this Mocc Walk will help American Indian Services provide scholarships to Native American/Alaska Native students throughout the U.S.

How do I get involved:

Walk as an individual or, better yet, form a team!  Forming a Walk team is an opportunity to conquer a challenge and share a great experience with friends, family members or co-workers.

A team consists of two or more people. Each team will have one team captain. Please go to our TEAM CAPTAIN PAGE for more information.

How do I raise funds:

Have friends and/or companies sponsor your laps to help as many students as possible. The more people on your team, the more opportunities to help those seeking higher education.
